About me
Academically, I am interested in social and political philosophy, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy, and Hannah Arendt. I completed my dissertation on the Eurocentrism and anti-Black racism present in Arendt's theory of political action the summer of 2021.
Of all the (19 at this point) classes I've taught, I most enjoy Ethics and Social and Political Philosophy. I'm always looking for new ways to incorporate service learning or experiential learning into my classes! Personally, I am an avid runner, hiker, and dog foster. When not working I enjoy traveling to as many state and national parks as I can, volunteering with my local dog rescues, fundraising for the Chicago Women's Health Center, and seeking solace in warm bodies of water.
